Safety & Security

Each residence hall features 24-hour security by the Suffolk University Police Department. Front entrances are locked and are accessed by a key card, which is provided only to registered guests. A room key is issued to each guest at time of check-in. Suffolk University police also frequently visit the residence halls and surrounding areas.

Dining Services

Suffolk University offers a variety of dining and catering options during your stay.

One residential dining facility operates during the summer. This facility may or may not be in the residence hall of your stay; however, it is accessible to all summer guests. All summer guests have a breakfast only meal plan included in the room rate. Long-term guests may add on an additional meal plan of lunch, dinner, or lunch and dinner for the duration of their stay for an additional fee.

All meals are buffet-style with a selection of hot and cold entries. There is a salad bar available at lunch and dinner daily. Meals in the residential dining facility are only available through these meal plans. They must be arranged in advance and cannot be paid for on-site.

Meeting Services

When you plan your meeting or event at Suffolk University in the summer, there is a wide range of facilities available. We can accommodate groups ranging in size from five to 100 people. We offer small meeting rooms, classrooms, conference rooms, dining hall space, a theatre, and other function space options.

Audiovisual services and equipment, including TV/VCR/DVD, slide projectors, overhead projectors, LCD panels, and satellite downlink can be made available. Most classrooms have built in media equipment. Wireless login information can be provided to groups upon request.

Groups must be approved by the University before using meeting spaces. If you are interested in hosting your program at Suffolk University, please fill out the request form. Upon receiving your request, Residence Life & Housing will follow up via email with a Use of Space form and information request. Upon receiving this completed information, requests take a minimum of two weeks to review.
