Suffolk University Law School is proud to offer the LSAC Prelaw Undergraduate Scholars (PLUS) Program, an intensive four-week (June 1 – 28, 2014) summer opportunity for undergraduate students to learn more about the practice of law and what it takes to become a successful law student.

At the heart of the Suffolk University (SU) PLUS Program is our nationally recognized experiential legal education curriculum. We provide participants with both the substantive knowledge they need to be successful law school applicants and students, as well as the critical thinking and academic skills that will serve as the foundation of their legal education. Additionally, the SU PLUS Program engages students in unparalleled learning and networking opportunities outside of Suffolk’s walls, putting students face to face with the leaders, scholars, institutions, and attorneys who make up Boston’s vibrant legal community.

We have a dynamic and innovative curriculum for our PLUS students that builds on core teaching strengths in the areas of clinical education, legal writing, and moot court preparation. Students will also benefit from classes on fundamental academic skills such as Critical Reading, Study Skills, and Preparing for Law School.

The SU PLUS Program is funded in part through a grant from the Law School Admission Council (LSAC) and is the only one of its kind in New England.
