The Ridgeway Building stands on Beacon Hill’s North Slope at the corner of Ridgeway Lane and Cambridge Street, directly across from two of Boston’s most historic landmarks: the Harrison Gray Otis House and the Old West Church.
Completed in 1991, this four and one-half story building of red brick and granite, with its slate roof, resembles the nineteenth century buildings that were torn down in 1926 to widen Cambridge Street. Its location provides Suffolk University with high visibility on one of Boston’s major downtown arteries.
