Now in its second season, Shakespeare and Leadership is a performance series created by Commonwealth Shakespeare Company and features prominent, local business leaders and CEOs in a staged reading of one of Shakespeare’s plays followed by a panel discussion of leadership issues raised within the text. This year’s program will feature Shakespeare’s complex and well-known tragedy Macbeth. Participants each take on a role and perform a script-in-hand reading of an abbreviated version of the play, followed by a panel discussion examining the text’s themes of loyalty and transition of power.
