STEP 1: Attend a Study Abroad Information Session

During this session, a Study Abroad Advisor will explain the different types of program models for study abroad at Suffolk University as well discussing Financial Aid and Scholarships available for study abroad.

If you are planning to study abroad in Madrid, you will attend a Madrid-specific session.

An advisor from the Undergraduate Academic Advising Center will be present to discuss the Course Selection process and schedule advising appointments.

STEP 2: Meet with a Study Abroad Advisor

After you have decided on a location for your study abroad experience, you will meet one-on-one with a Study Abroad Advisor to select the best program for your personal and academic goals.

Make an appointment by calling the Study Abroad Office at 617-573-8034, scheduling through SSC Campus, or visiting the 9th floor of 73 Tremont.

STEP 3: Meet with an Academic Advisor

After you confirm your program destination, you can meet with an Advisor in the Undergraduate Academic Advising Center to complete your Course Selection Form. You will need to bring the following to your appointment:

  • your most recent program evaluation
  • a list of 8-10 courses that you researched and hope to take abroad to fulfill your program requirements at Suffolk University

STEP 4: Complete Study Abroad Application
