Spain: Suffolk Madrid
For students interested in taking courses or participating in an internship this summer, the Suffolk University Madrid Campus could be the perfect place! This summer we are offering many exciting courses at the Madrid Campus including:
- World Cinema
- Economics of the European Union
- Planetary Science & Astrobiology
- Elementary Spanish
- Spanish in the Workplace
- Applied Statistics
- Business Finance
Additionally, students who have a higher level of Spanish language skills have the opportunity to participate in a full time internship in the city of Madrid at a placement fit to their interests and talents.

The International Center for Development Studies offers two exciting tracks this summer in San Jose:

2. Spanish and Health in Latin America.
London South Bank University, located in central London, offers a 4 week study program as well as a 6 week study and internship program during the summer. Course offerings include London: City of Change, Multimedia Journalism, and Shakespeare: Text and Performance.
Regent's University will be offering a Liberal Arts Summer program: six-week courses beginning 5 June 2017. Students will be able to register to a maximum of 2 classes with course offerings in history, literature, religion, theatre, photography, and art.
Participate in an intensive study of the French language for 4 or 8 weeks at the world renowned CAVILAM language school located in Vichy, France. The Paris School of Business will offer a two-week long summer program during July 2017. Students can choose between several programs, including Modern and Contemporary Art in Paris, Fashion Marketing, Luxury Brand Management, International Entrepreneurship, and more.
Kedge Business School, located in Marseille, France will be offering 4 sessions of 2 business courses. The subjects include management, marketing, international business, and more. Students can enroll in 1-4 courses.
- WHU will hold its 9th European Summer Institute for international undergraduate students in 2017 titled “The Business, Political and Cultural Environment in Europe.” Tailored to students who are interested in business administration, this two-week program takes place on the beautiful premises of WHU (Vallendar, Germany) from May 28, 2017 - June 9, 2017. - Justus Liebig University (JLU) offers an interdisciplinary summer program with special seminars and German language courses.
American College Thessaloniki offers wonderful summer courses in English in the following disciplines:
- Social Sciences
The University College Cork is holding a summer program titled, "The Golden Age: Imagination and the Making of Irish Identity." The program will be comprised of two weeks of Irish history courses and two weeks of English literature courses.
This intensive, faculty-led six and a half week program focuses on interpreting the landscapes, towns, and seascapes of Italy through water-coloring and drawing en-plein-air while integrating its rich history or art and culture into a valuable educational adventure. Students will explore the dramatic views and vistas of the sun-drenched Tuscan countryside: its hills, towns, royal gardens, Renaissance churches, bustling markets, piazzas, and alley-ways, all of which will be the subject matter. The outdoor studio course is combined with a course in art history, which consists of morning lectures on history and culture, for a total of 7 credits.

Sophia University in Tokyo offers two great programs this summer: Summer Session in Asian Studies and Japanese Language Intensive Course. Please note that the Summer Session in Asian Studies has a 2.75 GPA requirement.

Kansai Gaidai University offers a six-week program focusing on introductory Japanese language and hands-on experiences in Japanese culture.

The Suffolk Madrid Campus offers an 8 week summer internship program for students who speak Spanish at a highly proficient level. Students will intern full-time alongside their coursework in SPAN 295.
Global Travel Seminars
There’s no substitute for experience, especially when it comes to global business. That’s why we offer Global Travel Seminars—a practical, hands-on learning experience that helps you build your resume and extend your network internationally.
You’ll get an inside look at how businesses operate abroad. You’ll spend 7-10 days visiting companies and you’ll network with high-level executives. Immersed in a new culture, you’ll also learn how to interact and communicate with people who come from different backgrounds. Past locations have included Italy, Israel, and China.
