Let us strategize with you to help you conquer test anxiety and procrastination, cite sources properly, use notes effectively, strengthen your communication skills and so much more. We provide interactive presentations which incorporate videos, games, and group discussion.

Academic workshops are designed to benefit all Suffolk students. Professors and staff may request that the workshop team come to their classes or organizations.

English Language Workshops
Do you want to brush up on your grammar skills? Do you speak English as a foreign language and want to improve your pronunciation skills? Do you want to practice English conversation in a safe and comfortable environment? Let our professional instructors work with you in one of our weekly workshops on these topics.
English Language Workshops are open to all Suffolk undergraduate and graduate students. There is no formal registration process. Feel free to attend as many workshops as you'd like.

Who are the workshop facilitators?
Academic workshop facilitators are students just like you. Many of our facilitators have been recommended by faculty for this role and all of them have sought a role at the CLAS because they enjoy helping others and collaborating with their peers. English Language and Writing Workshops are led by our experienced professional tutors.
But how do I know if this will help me?
You won't know the answer to this question until you give it a try! Remember that academic workshops are focused on helping good students get better. If you are committed to improving your GPA by attending an academic workshop, you are well on the way to academic success.
