The CLAS offers workshops focusing on general academic skills as well as specific English language skills. Hundreds of Suffolk students use these resources to improve their academic performance and boost their GPAs.

Let us strategize with you to help you conquer test anxiety and procrastination, cite sources properly, use notes effectively, strengthen your communication skills and so much more. We provide interactive presentations which incorporate videos, games, and group discussion.

English Language Workshops

Do you want to brush up on your grammar skills? Do you speak English as a foreign language and want to improve your pronunciation skills? Do you want to practice English conversation in a safe and comfortable environment? Let our professional instructors work with you in one of our weekly workshops on these topics. English Language Workshops are open to all Suffolk undergraduate and graduate students. There is no formal registration process. Feel free to attend as many workshops as you'd like.

Many of our facilitators have been recommended by faculty for this role and all of them have sought a role at the CLAS because they enjoy helping others and collaborating with their peers. English Language and Writing Workshops are led by our experienced professional tutors.
