Why did you attend Suffolk?
I loved the fact that Suffolk was located in Boston, the number one city for higher education globally.
How did Suffolk help you decide your career path?
Due to its connections with companies in the Financial District only a few blocks away from campus, Suffolk helped me get internships at Ernst & Young, Putnam Investments, and HarbourVest Partners – all really big names! I am so grateful to the University for that.
What is your most memorable Suffolk moment?
I have so many good memories, but my best moment was the weekly meetings with my fellow Sawyer Ambassadors. We felt empowered and in charge of building a community at Suffolk, innovating projects and programs that addressed unmet needs.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?
I love every aspect of my job. Launching the Africa Impact Group has been the greatest blessing that could have happened to me. As Confucius said, “Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.”
What are the words that you live by?
“Live in the faith that the whole word is on your side as long as you are true to the best that is in you.” – Christian D. Larson
What is the last book you have read?
“Impact Investing: Transforming How We Make Money While Making a Difference” by Anthony Bugg-Levine and Jed Emerson.
