How do I ensure that I receive the discount if I am eligible?
If you are a new Suffolk student, make sure to indicate your employment or membership with a partner organization in your admission application. If you are a returning student, call 617-305-1941 or email us and indicate that you are an employee or a member of a partner organization and are eligible for the discount. Please note that tuition reduction is effective for enrollment in future academic terms and will not be applied retroactively.

Can I combine my discount with other awards from Suffolk University?
If you qualify for a scholarship that would be more financially beneficial to you, we would not award a Partner Scholarship. In some cases (regarding students with strong academic qualifications, Suffolk alumni, etc.), a student may qualify for a larger award that would supersede the partner discount. Federal financial aid has no impact on the Partner Scholarship discount, and the same is true for employer reimbursement.

As a student in an online program, do I qualify for the discount?
Yes!

Who verifies my employment or membership with a partner?
Suffolk University will verify your employment or membership after registration but before the beginning of the semester. If you are a new Suffolk student, make sure to indicate your employment or membership with a partner organization in your admission application.

Do I have to be employed by a partner or be a member of a partner organization for the entire time I am pursuing my degree to be eligible for the discount?
Yes. We will verify employment or membership at the beginning of each semester.

What if I am no longer employed by the partner company but I have already received the discount for the semester?
Discounts will not be retroactively revoked. If you meet the qualifications for employment or membership after the add/drop period for classes, the discount will be applied.

What if my company or organization terminates the agreement during a semester when I have received the discount?
Discounts will not be retroactively revoked. If your company or organization is a partner before the end of the add/drop period for classes, the discount will be applied.

How long do I need to be employed by my company before I qualify for the discount?
Suffolk has no requirement for length of employment before you are eligible for the discount.

How long do I have to be a member of a professional organization before I qualify for the discount?
You must be a member in good standing (as defined by your organization) for one year before you are eligible to receive the discount.

What if I qualify for a discount under multiple partner agreements?
If this is the case, only one tuition reduction applies.
