Graduate Certificate in Taxation of Wealth
The Graduate Certificate in Taxation of Wealth explores the basic structure of individual income taxation, including gross income, exclusions, deductions, credits, and the alternative minimum tax. Taxation of estates, trusts, and gifts are addressed as well, and elective courses cover topics including taxation of pass-through entities and international taxation. The program is ideal for professionals at wealth management firms looking to enter the field of financial planning.
This certificate program is designed to be completed part-time in one or two semesters on campus. You can continue to build on your tax knowledge by stacking the Graduate Certificate in Taxation of Wealth with our Graduate Certificates in Tax Audit Defense, Fundamentals of Taxation, or Corporate Taxation. If you apply to the MS in Taxation (MST) degree program or another graduate business degree program, you may be able to apply the courses in this certificate program to reduce the time it will take to complete your master’s degree.
