What will you do with your time?
Each spring the Center for Community Engagement organizes a day for the entire Suffolk community to perform service in Greater Boston. Come join your classmates and colleagues and participate in the 21st Annual Service Day on Friday, April 6, 2018.
Service projects take place throughout the entire day in various locations, with a free on-campus luncheon that celebrates the past year of service in our community.
Lunch will be served 11:45 a.m.–1:30 p.m. in the Sawyer Building, fourth floor.
This year’s project sites include:
- Cambridge Women’s Center
- Community Servings
- Cradles to Crayons
- Fresh Truck
- Prison Book Program
- Saint Francis House
- The Greater Boston Food Bank.
Volunteers may register as a group or individually. When signing up for a project, please make sure you can complete your whole shift. You’ll meet your project team in the Stoll Room (Sawyer 410) and travel to your project site as a group.
For more information, please contact the Center.
Why you should join us
At Suffolk, we like to make a difference in our community and in the world. Community service is key to our students’ experience, and our campus is close to many of Boston’s nonprofits. When you participate in Service Day, you’ll connect with both your fellow citizens and with Suffolk’s proud tradition of serving others.
