Are you passionate about a particular social issue that is impacting Boston like hunger and homelessness, or women’s empowerment, or the school-to-prison pipeline? Do you want to build lasting relationships with students and connect with a community organization that is working on this issue? Then, join Service After Hours, a weekly program where you can volunteer with the same organization each week for the semester or the year. This program connects you to other Suffolk students, helps build your network in Boston, and allows you to make a long-term impact in your community. You can join as a volunteer or take on a leadership role as a Project leader, where you will learn valuable leadership skills and development, helping to empower other Suffolk students to get involved in their community. For more information, see the sign-up opportunities on SU Connect.
