You made it to Suffolk, now make Suffolk your home! RAMventures is two unique weekends of programs designed to introduce you to a variety of opportunities available on and around Suffolk’s urban campus. Take some time to explore and make lasting connections with your peers, while stepping beyond the cobblestone streets of Beacon Hill. 

For all trips, students will travel in a group with upper-class student leaders and staff, including Orientation Leaders, Resident Assistants and Commuter Ambassadors. All Registration Fees are Non-Refundable & Space is Limited/First-Available.

Saturday, September 8

Boda Borg
Meet at Sawyer Lobby (8 Ashburton Place)
5:00-8:00PM

Boda Borg is the only place in the nation that provides a one of a kind questing experience for adventure and thrill seekers looking to test their limits. Are you ready to break out of prison, win a TV game show, explore a haunted house and run an obstacle course? You'll do that and so much more in a visit to Boda Borg Boston! At Boda Borg students can expect to team up in groups of 3-5 to solve a serious of “quests” that test physical, mental, and creative abilities, with little to no instruction—so come prepared. Ticket price includes a meal at Cafe Boda.

Sunday, September 9

Kayaking on the Charles 
Meet at Sawyer Lobby (8 Ashburton Place)
9:00AM-12:30PM

Grab a friend, a paddle, and explore the best sights the Charles River has to offer as we kayak down the famous Boston Greenway. Enjoy sights of the Boston Skyline from the water and ride the tides past the Row Houses in Cambridge! We will be out on the water for two hours so make sure to pack some drinking water and a snack!

The RAMazing Race

You've heard of The Amazing Race? Well, get ready for The RAMazing Race! This fun filled scavenger hunt will see you and your friends competing against the rest of the incoming class of 2022 for some absolutely RAMazing prizes! All participants will get custom team Tee shirts and prizes will go to third, second and of course first place teams as you explore the Boston campus in fun and exciting ways. Make sure to charge your phone and wear comfortable shoes and prepare yourself for the competition of the semester! 

All participants will need to pre-register, and meet with the New Student Programs office the week before the race in order to pick out you team's color, T shirt sizes, and go over the rules. Registration opens July 16th, make sure to sign up before space runs out!

Teams of 2-4 participants are required, each member of your team must register online using the link below, in the checkout there will be a space to specify the first and last name of your teammate.

Whale Watching 
Meet at Sawyer Lobby (8 Ashburton Place)

Embark on a scenic journey off the Boston Harbor in the waters along our sea-side town and grab views of all of Boston from the water front while on the lookout for local marine life! The Whale Watching tour’s destination is Stellwagen Bank Marine Sanctuary, a rich feeding ground for whales, dolphins, sea birds and more. You’ll learn about everything you see from New England Aquarium naturalists who are on board to share knowledge and answer your questions.
