Physics is the most fundamental science. It's also an integral part of many other disciplines, including astronomy, biology, chemistry, earth science, and engineering. Whether you enroll as a major or minor in physics, you'll pursue a rigorous lab-based curriculum with world-class facilities on campus at Suffolk and at study abroad locations around the world.

Read about some of our students using next-generation mixed reality technology in the Physics lab. Our physics programs will prepare you for a career in the field with hands-on work or will ready you for graduate studies.

Our electrical engineering program is no longer accepting applications for new student enrollment. If you're a current electrical engineering major, you'll learn about power generation and delivery, communications, robotics, computer applications, control, and circuit/system design. Whether you are interested in hardware, software, or firmware, this major provides theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience in the engineering field an easy commute from some of the best internship sites in the country.
