Forensic Science Minor

Are you fascinated by how law enforcement uses science to solve crimes? Do you see yourself working in a police lab someday? That's some pretty strong evidence that Suffolk University's minor in forensic science might be for you.

Suffolk's expert faculty will teach you the science behind crime fighting and give you the tools to get involved. Our interdisciplinary program will start with introductory courses in forensic biology and forensic chemistry, then move on to a variety of electives, such as genetics, criminal law, forensic psychology, pharmacology and toxicology, fraud examination, and more.

This minor is open to all students, but is an excellent complement to a major in another science area, criminal justice, psychology, and sociology. With this coursework, you could go on to work in a testing or crime laboratory or pursue graduate study in forensic science.
