About the Project Request Process
Under Suffolk’s IT governance process, IT projects will be evaluated and prioritized by the IT Governance Committee (ITGC). The ITGC works to ensure that IT investments are aligned to generate academic and business value by achieving institutional goals, while balancing risk versus return.
Submit a Project Request
The project request process was created and approved by the ITGC in February, 2014. The Project Request Form provides information for the Working Group Committees and IT Executive Governance Committee to review and also includes a Security Information questionnaire that will be reviewed by the Chief Security Officer. The project request can be downloaded: Project Request Form
All project request forms must be signed by the division’s VP or Provost to indicate that they are aware of the request (note, this signature is not approval of the project, but approval to submit the request.) Once completed and signed, please send a scanned copy with the signature(s) to ITS PMO Office.
Once the form is received, you will be contacted by the Project Management Office and meetings will be scheduled to help you prepare for your project request presentation to the Working Groups.
Please contact Marian Sales at the ITS Project Management Office at ext 8424 if you have any questions.
