Advice for Applicants
Be curious, inquisitive, and unafraid as you consider the next chapter of your education and career. Many of our design students are new to the arts community, and come to us after years spent in other fields. Many wish they had seriously considered design as an option sooner, but didn’t know where to start or who to connect with. All of our faculty are also working professionals in their design field, and they are extremely passionate and generous with the insights they share. If design may be for you, ask every question you have to admission counselors and faculty. Look at faculty members’ websites to see if the work they make inspires you. The art world is truly a community, so find your people and you will go far!
