Suffolk University Law School offers a wide array of international courses, ranging from public international law to international business transactions, and comparative legal cultures, as well as the option to specialize with the international law concentration. Summer Law Program - Lund, Sweden

Study abroad is now an essential part of legal training. The Summer Law Program provides U.S. law students with an opportunity to participate in comparative and international public and private law courses while living in the charming, medieval city of Lund, Sweden. The close interaction of law students and law faculty from the University of Lund and other international law faculties distinguishes Suffolk's program from most other foreign summer law programs and offers students an excellent opportunity to learn about different legal cultures.


International Internships

Suffolk University Law School has an exclusive agreement with the Center for International Legal Studies (CILS) to offer Internships to U.S. law students and Externships. International internships are available to JD students for credit in conformity with the American Bar Association guidelines, and international externships are for LLM students and other post-graduates with law degrees.


LL.M. in European Business Law - Lund, Sweden

One or two Suffolk University Law students or graduates will be selected for a nomination to the program in European Business Law at the University of Lund. Designed to provide advanced knowledge of legal, business, and political aspects of European affairs, this program is a unique opportunity for the right student.


Semester Abroad Opportunities

Suffolk University Law School students have the unique opportunity to participate in one of three exchange agreements. Students may spend one semester at Heinrich-Heine-Universitaet (HHU) Dusseldorf, Germany, Universidad Panamericana Guadalajara (UPG), Mexico, or University of Lund, Sweden. These exchange programs are excellent global experiences and make it possible for upper class Suffolk Law students to take law classes in Germany, Mexico, or Sweden.
