Fourth Rams Basketball Player Reaches 1,000-Point Milestone

Chris Torres became the third active player for the Suffolk University men's basketball team to reach 1,000 career points as he netted 25 in a 97-87 setback against Emmanuel College on Saturday afternoon.

Last semester Jacqueline Vienneau became the 11th player in Rams women's basketball history to reach 1,000 career points in a 68-38 Rams victory over Nichols College.

Matt Pepdjonovic made Rams history in November when he recorded 1,000 career rebounds, having scored his 1,000th career point in January 2012. He is the second Suffolk player ever to reach the combined milestone.

And in December, Colin Halpin became the 27th player in the Rams' 65-year men's basketball program history to reach the 1,000-career-point mark.
