Conference honors to softball’s Jaclyn Davis and baseball’s Anthony DelPrete
The Great Northeast Athletic Conference recognized the able leadership of the Rams baseball and softball teams with 2016 Coach of the Year honors to head baseball coach Anthony DelPrete and head softball coach Jaclyn Davis.
DelPrete guided the Rams to their second GNAC baseball championship in as many years, with a record of 33-11, the second most wins in program history.
Davis led the Rams to the semifinal round of the GNAC softball tournament and an overall record of 33-9, the most wins ever for the program.
In addition, the baseball team earned a total of 17 postseason GNAC honors, and six members of the Suffolk softball squad received postseason recognition.
