Seriously Bent, Suffolk University's student improv troupe, placed second in the 2009 College Improv Tournament held in Chicago this past weekend, finishing .5 points from a perfect score.

The Titanic Player's Daddy Mags of Northwestern University took the title by scoring 100 points.

Seriously Bent has been an annual contender since the tournament began three years ago as part of the Chicago Improv Festival. The Suffolk troupe placed second last year and made the quarterfinals in 2007.

The 2009 tournament began in the fall with 72 teams. Seriously Bent won the East Coast Regional competition in November, sending the student group on its way to the Chicago festival.
