Suffolk lost its first Great Northeast Athletic Conference game Monday, as Emmanuel defeated the Rams, 63-41. Suffolk is now 5-1 in GNAC games, 10-7 overall.

The Rams were led by senior guard Lauren Burns (Dorchester, MA) with eight points. Junior guard Katlyn Klecha (Fairfield, CT) added seven points. The Rams were only down by five at the half, 29-24, but were outscored 34-17 in the second half.

Suffolk hosts Emerson in a GNAC game on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. as part of a double-header with the men's team. The men host Lesley in an 8 p.m. game.
