Senior Jonathan Orsini, who swept critical circles in the fall with Company One’s After Ashley, has picked up an IRNE (Independent Reviewers of New England) nomination for Best Actor in a Small Company.

Among the prestigious list of fellow nominees is one of the Theatre Department’s newest faculty members, John Kuntz.

Orsini is now touring schools with the professional theatre company Shakespeare Now as Puck in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, directed by the Lyric Stage Company’s Spiro Veloudos.

Soon he will shortly join the cast of Macbeth, directed by the Publick Theatre’s Diego Arciniegas, playing the role of Ross.
