The Suffolk University Women's Basketball team improved to 16-7 on the season with a 79-62 victory over Southern Vermont College Saturday afternoon at Regan Gymnasium.

Freshman Stephanie Zito (Guilford, CT) led the charge once again for the Rams with 19 points and six rebounds on 9-16 shooting. Jenn Fogg (Stonington, CT) added 10 points and six rebounds for Suffolk. Meghan Tracey (Rehoboth, MA) finished just one point shy of a double-double with nine points and 10 rebounds.

Markeisha Mullen led Southern Vermont with 16 points and 14 rebounds on 6-13 shooting. Jaleesa Marshall finished with 12 points on 6-13 shooting.

The Rams led 42-26 at the half as Southern Vermont shot 29 percent in the first half. Suffolk forced 28 turnovers on the afternoon.
