Suffolk lost to Rivier, 94-82, in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Tournament Semifnals Thursday, Feb. 22 in Nashua, NH. The Rams had four players in double figures, as senior guard Brad Schoonmaker scored 29 points to lead the Rams.

Senior guard John Murphy finished with 15 points and ends his Suffolk career with 1,545 points. Junior Chris MacDonald scored 10 points and freshman Alan Jaziri added 16 points.

The Rams had a 42-35 lead at the half, but were outscored 59-40 in the second half. Rivier was led by Jeff Carpenter's 30 points. Rivier also had four players in double figures.

Suffolk ends its 2006-07 season with a 9-18 overall record, 7-9 in the GNAC and reached the GNAC tournament semifinals, finishing with a 1-1 post season record.
