Art & Design Students

Students in Suffolk's Art & Design Department earn their degree with a major or minor in:

Students interested in Graphic Design, Interior Design, or Studio Art should complete the standard undergraduate admission application. A portfolio is not required as part of the admissions application.

After you are admitted to Suffolk University, your applicant portal will include the option to submit a portfolio for faculty review.

Students who choose not to submit a portfolio may still begin their studies in Art & Design through the standard first-year pathway. During the first semester, students develop foundational skills while faculty assess their progress for entry into their intended major. Students who earn at least a 2.7 GPA in studio courses, with no grade below C+, may also qualify for entry into their intended major.
