Suffolk University is pleased to offer both merit and need based financial aid to undergraduate students. Merit based scholarships are awarded based on the applicant's academic credentials presented on the application for admission. No separate application is required for merit scholarship consideration. International students, while not eligible for federal/state financial aid, will be considered for merit scholarships at the time of admission.

To apply for need based financial aid at Suffolk University, you must submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The Federal Code for Suffolk University is 002218. This is the only form required to begin the application process. When applying for aid each year, remember to submit the FAFSA as early as possible after the FAFSA becomes available. New students should not wait for an admission decision to apply for financial aid. Please check for the financial aid deadline that applies to you.

"Suffolk gives so much to its students, and it gave so much to me in scholarships.

Every college says they give back their students. At Suffolk, it’s not just a myth. They actually do."

"Academics has always felt like a huge part of my identity, and I wanted to continue my education. I was feeling upset knowing I might have to take a break due to finances.

However, Suffolk offered me an award that waived the GRE exam, personal statement, recommendations, and other vital parts of a graduate school application while also providing me with a scholarship.
