  • Small group sessions with orientation leaders and your fellow incoming students
  • Academic assessment and placement sessions
  • Lunch and student services/activities fair
  • Address by the academic deans
  • Academic sessions including curriculum introduction and course pre-selection
  • Essential workshops for new students
    • Financial aid
    • Off-campus housing
    • Student accounts
    • Work-study opportunities
  • Academic advising and finalization of registration for Spring 2015 classes
  • Student success workshops
  • Student ID photos

Orientation attendance is mandatory for all new freshman and transfer students. If you cannot attend, please contact the Office of Orientation and New Student Program so that we may discuss alternative arrangements.
