Suffolk Law students interested in business law have numerous opportunities to gain experience and/or network with peers with similar interests, including:

Foreign Direct Investment Moot Competition

Suffolk Law co-founded this annual competition in which students compete to negotiate a hypothetical dispute in connection with an investment by a foreign investor in a host country. The simulation now includes more than 50 law schools across the globe and is partially funded by international law firm Skadden Arps. In the past, the championships have been held in London, England and Frankfurt, Germany. More info online

Irving R. Kaufman Memorial Competition (Securities Law)

Suffolk Law fields a team that competes in a moot court competition in the area of securities law. More info

Tannenwald Competition

Students participate in a tax law writing competition.

Tax Moot Court Team

Students participate in national competitions. More info

This is an organization for students interested in practicing business law in a variety of contexts. More info

Pro Bono Service
