First-Year Experience

Make the first step in your Suffolk journey one you’ll never forget.

Change is good, especially when it comes to your first year at Suffolk.

In the year ahead, you’ll make new friends, learn your way around our campus and the incredible city of Boston that surrounds it, dive into your academic interests, and grow into the person you’re meant to be.

But you won’t do this alone. Our specially designed First-Year Experience Program will be here for you every step of the way. From Ram Supporters you can rely on for advice to faculty experts who’ve created courses to ignite your intellectual curiosity and imagination, you’ll feel seen, heard, and welcomed the moment you join our community. And all that you do in your first year will set you up for even more success throughout your entire Suffolk experience.

"The best thing I did was just get involved. I immediately went to every single event we held on campus, and that made me much more comfortable being around in the city.”
