Chemistry Major
You’ll follow a course of study endorsed by the American Chemical Society (ACS), which is highly respected in the field. You may also join Suffolk's award-winning ACS student chapter. Students involved in this co-curricular activity host speakers and enjoy participating in community service projects, for example volunteering at the nearby Museum of Science or the Boston Children’s Museum. Additionally, opportunities may be available to attend ACS regional and national meetings to learn about current research from experts in the field and even present your own research.
This program is ideal if you hope to go on to a research career or to graduate school. Plus, you'll have the skills to thrive in high-demand fields like pharmaceuticals, environmental health, and manufacturing.
