Healthcare Administration & Innovation Curriculum
Combining business fundamentals, healthcare-focused coursework, and work-based learning, this program prepares you to become a leader behind the scenes of healthcare—helping organizations deliver better care, improve patient outcomes, and serve communities more effectively.
The 94-credit interdisciplinary curriculum for the Applied Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration & Innovation includes courses in healthcare, biology, statistics, management, finance, policy, and technology. The program includes coursework from all three schools: the Sawyer Business School, College of Arts & Sciences, and Law School.
This curriculum includes 30 credits of shared general education requirements, 30 in the business core, and 25 credits in healthcare administration and innovation, giving students a solid foundation in business fundamentals before they progress to developing expertise in the area of non-clinical healthcare support. Program participants learn as a cohort, completing courses together throughout their six semesters at Suffolk University.
