Learn more about the partnership and program
Cybersecurity professionals need technical skills and subject matter knowledge that spans disciplines. Suffolk's distinctive interdisciplinary major delivers both through coursework in the College of Arts & Sciences, the Sawyer Business School, and Suffolk Law.
By merging faculty expertise and core competencies from all three schools, you will learn the technology, legal implications, and strategy behind cybersecurity. As a cybersecurity major, you’ll develop strong technical skills through courses in programming, operating systems, and networking. You’ll also take specialized courses in cybersecurity, ethical hacking, digital forensics, and security protection to learn how to design effective safeguards, policies, and procedures for businesses and organizations. The curriculum also includes content on the legal ramifications and liabilities of data breaches and cyberattacks.
