Laila's Suffolk Story
Through Suffolk, I successfully completed my student-teaching practicum at my old middle school teaching Ancient Civilizations to sixth-graders full-time. Right after Commencement, I received a call from my future employer—Watertown Public Schools—for an interview.
Through my dedication to studying middle school education while at Suffolk, I immediately landed a job as a full-time Arabic teacher at Watertown Middle School. Every day I get to use the set of education skills, techniques, and practices I learned from the amazing Education Studies professors at Suffolk. For that, I am forever grateful.
