Even though I’m a legacy student, I didn't begin my Suffolk story until I came here as a sophomore transfer. From moving into the dorms to transitioning to my first apartment, to becoming a writing tutor, a student leader, and an honors student, I became a better, stronger, brighter, more well-rounded individual in the midst of a booming city of business and knowledge. I never would have become this person had I decided to stay where I was. I've gained my voice, and with that, gained experience.
Coming to Suffolk challenged me to learn more and seek additional knowledge about the world around me to become a better student. The more classes I take, the more everything I am learning comes together. I've chosen my path—marketing analytics—and have progressed upward and onward as a student.
I've tallied three internships thus far, working for major brands and small start-ups. I've just recently signed an acceptance letter with Liberty Mutual Insurance in their Brand Strategy Department. I’ll be performing strategic testing work due to the project I brought in from my Business Research Methods class, when we worked with the Boston Red Sox.
I love the life that I've created for myself because of Suffolk University. With a strong education and supportive friends by my side, I'm confident in myself as I enter the real working world. Looking back, there is no other place I would have chosen to help me pave my path.
