Creating A Great Place To Learn

Dean Ann Coyne's Suffolk Story

"Thirty-four years after graduating, I'm back at my beloved Suffolk, working with others to make the campus a great place for learning."
Ann Coyne Vice President for Student Affairs & Dean of Students | BS, Communications & Speech, '82

As an undergraduate at Suffolk, I was able to work with other students to found the Program Council, which is one of the most critical and influential student groups on campus. I learned the basics of promoting student activities to foster a spirited and engaged student population.

This opportunity led me to a career in higher education and working with students to develop their personal, leadership, and career skills. Now, 34 years after my graduation, I'm back at my beloved Suffolk as the Dean of Students, still working with others to make the campus a great place for learning.
