Melissa's Suffolk Story
Before coming to Suffolk I didn’t know what I wanted to do with my life. I didn’t know what my passions and interests were, or what career path I wanted to take.
I grew up in a small rural town where there weren’t many opportunities. I knew I wanted to come to Suffolk because of the opportunities it provides its students. It’s an experience you won’t get anywhere else. There are so many different things you can do on campus and in the city.
I became a resident assistant, president of Caribbean Student Network, and member of various clubs and organizations on campus. By getting involved, I know what I want to do in life and know what my passions are. That’s all thanks to Suffolk... Suffolk shaped me into the person I am today.
