Maryam's Suffolk Story
Suffolk University has molded me into a critical thinker, a social agent for change, and a lifelong scholar who is voracious to learn. I was once frightened of politics; however, Suffolk instilled in me the knowledge, comprehension, and critical analysis I needed to understand and dissect any political theory or topic.
At Suffolk University, I fell in love with politics, and I met professors and students who are just as enthusiastic about learning as I am. Professor Waters’ Intro to Philosophy was an amazing class. I learned about Greek philosophers, Socrates, and Emmanuel Kant and how their philosophies are relevant to modern-day society.
