Having Suffolk University right in the heart of downtown Boston brings new opportunities and connections. You meet so many students from different backgrounds and experiences and get to connect and work with them. Suffolk takes you out of your comfort zone and allows you to explore as many activities as possible. You never know what may come. You just have to be ready for anything.
This past semester, I worked as a photographer with one of the SGA senators who was running for vice president. He got me into politics and working to create a better community for Suffolk students and faculty. You just have to talk to people: You never know what opportunities may arrive for you. The professors here freely share their knowledge with their students. They have resources that can really pique your interest and expand what you are already learning in the classroom. And they have connections with others who can advance your career.
Coming to Suffolk was the right choice; it still is to this day. It feels great to be in the heart of Boston, and I enjoy learning and working with the best people possible.
