Rams Coach, Players Earn Career Milestones

Jacqueline Vienneau and Matt Pepdjonovic set school records for the women and men’s basketball programs, while women’s coach Ed Leyden netted his 300th collegiate win in contests at Norwich University.

 

Senior player Jacqueline Vienneau set the assists record at 398 for the Suffolk women’s basketball program, and women’s coach Ed Leyden recorded his 300th career collegiate win on Jan. 21 with a 79-52 victory over the Norwich University Cadets. 

In the men’s competition at Norwich, senior Matt Pepdjonovic  took 10th place all-time in scoring for Suffolk bringing his career total to 1,357points. He also set the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) career mark for blocked shots at 210. The Rams defeated the Cadets 78-58.
