The New England School of Art and Design Faculty Exhibition, at the Adams Gallery through March 5, 2013, includes work that represent the broad visual spectrum one would expect from an institution that embraces the disciplines of Interior Architecture, Graphic Design, Illustration and Fine Arts.

A wide variety of media and perspectives are used to celebrate direct observation, whimsy, metaphor and rigor, reflecting both the diverse interests of the faculty and the school’s core mission: to expose students to as varied an artistic experience as possible.

The Faculty Exhibition is the first in a series of New England School of Art & Design-sponsored shows at the Adams Gallery, to be followed by:

  • Contemporary Illustration: At Your Service – March 16 – April 28, 2013
Imagination, insight, wit, expression, technical virtuosity – put to use in a wide range of applications, from picture books to wrapping paper to snowboards and advertising for medical devices
  • Master of Arts in Interior Architecture and Design Thesis Show – May 4 – 31, 2013
Capstone projects from a program ranked among the top 10 in the nation

The Adams Gallery is located in David J. Sargent Hall, Suffolk University, 120 Tremont St., Boston.

The gallery is free and open to the public 9 a.m.-7 p.m. daily.
