The Federalist Society: How Conservatives Took the Law Back From Liberals, by Suffolk University Law School Professor Michael Avery and alumna Danielle McLaughlin, JD ’09, is the subject of a New York Times Sunday Book Review article.

“The greatest strength of this book is showing how conservatives viewed their effort to take back the Constitution as a multi-front war, also involving legislatures and ballot initiatives, not to mention winning the hearts and minds of the American people,” writes reviewer Jeffrey Rosen, a George Washington University law professor who is president of the National Constitution Center and the legal affairs editor of The New Republic.
