A recent federal district court ruling found that two unpaid interns who worked on a Fox Searchlight film are owed back wages.

Additional interns who were not paid have stepped forward.

"I'm sure this is causing a lot of discussions to be held in human resource offices and internship programs across the country," Suffolk University Law School Professor David Yamada has said in media reports.
