Summer Issue of "Salamander" Completes Journal's 20th Edition
The Salamander literary journal, housed and published at Suffolk University, is now completing its 20th year, and Part 2 of the 20th edition has just been released.
The new issue features:
- Poetry by Stephen Ackerman, Andrea Cohen, Rita Gabis, George Kalogeris, Michael Hettich, Karen An-Hwei Lee, Heather Madden, Jacquelyn Pope, Anna Ross, Tara Skurtu and others
- Fiction by Naira Kuzmich, Linda Rui Feng, Mel Wells and Steven Wingate
- Reviews of Jessica Greenbaum’s The Two Yvonnes and Ilya Kaminsky and Jean Valentine’s Dark Elderberry Branch: Poems of Marina Tsvetaeva(translations).
A launch party for the new issue, with readings by Ben Berman and Anna Ross, will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, July 1, at Newtonville Books, 10 Langley Road, Newton Centre.
English Professor Jennifer Barber is the founding editor and editor-in-chief of Salamander.
