Grad Student Publishes Journal Article on Ethics, the Pharmaceutical Industry and Lifesaving Medications

The Journal of Business Ethics has published an article by Jim Huebner, a graduate student in the Philosophy Department's Ethics and Public Policy program.

His article "Moral Psychology and the Intuition that Pharmaceutical Companies Have a 'Special' Obligation to Society" explores the common assertion that "companies in the pharmaceutical industry have a special duty to provide essential lifesaving drugs to developing nations, either free-of-charge or at some reduced rate."
