Multiple Honors for Soccer Player of the Week
Women’s soccer's Taylor Miranda earned multiple conference honors for her play last week as she scored five goals and added two assists in a pair of Rams wins.
Miranda was named Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Player of the Week, and the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) then selected her Corvais Player of the Week in women’s soccer.
The senior, who is majoring in International Economics, netted Suffolk’s two goals in their 2-1 victory over Johnson & Wales University last Wednesday and then played a part in all five Rams’ goals in a 5-0 victory over Norwich University on Saturday.
Miranda recorded her fourth career hat trick in the win over the Cadets bringing her season total nine, while also adding two assists in the game.
She ranks third among all GNAC players with her nine tallies and is second in the league with four game-winning goals.
