Basketball's Pinard Again Named Rookie of the Week
Frantz Pinard's shooting earns him a second straight week on the boards as GNAC Rookie of the Week.
Freshman Frantz Pinard has been named Great Northeast Athletic Conference Basketball Rookie of the Week for the second consecutive week.
Pinard finished the week averaging 15.3 points per game and was the Rams basketball team's leading scorer in two of their three contests. He shot at a 51.5-percent clip (17-for-33) from the field this past week, increasing his points-per-game total to 11.0 for the season.
The freshman guard also averaged 7.3 rebounds per game.
Pinard's 51.9 percent shooting percentage from the field this season is 10th among all players in the GNAC, and he is 15th among all long-range shooters, connecting on three-pointers at a 38.5-percent clip.
