Hockey's Michael Levine named Goalie of the Week; Jenni-Rose DiCecco is basketball Rookie of the Week

Michael Levine of the Suffolk men’s hockey team has been named Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Goalie of the Week for the second time this season, and women’s basketball guard Jenni-Rose DiCecco got her Rams career off to a fast start by being named Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Corvias Rookie of the Week.

DiCecco, a 5-6 freshman, averaged 14 points, 4.7 assists, and 3.3 rebounds per game in leading the Rams to a 2-1 record.

In the season opening game at Salve Regina, DiCecco ignited the Suffolk offense with a 21-point effort, and her leadership was key as the team captured the Roadrunner Tip-Off Tournament title in New Jersey.
