"Presidential elections are one of the most exciting times in American political life," explains Suffolk government professor Rachael Cobb. "But for new voters it can also be daunting, because it's often hard to sort through so much information. Public spaces for civic discourse and discovery offer the community a place to come together, share ideas, and learn about the key issues and central debates that animate American political life."

For some, election season means weighing the candidates’ merits to see whose policies they prefer. Other have their minds made up already, but don’t want to miss out on all the exciting political theatre of a national election. Wherever you fall on that spectrum, Suffolk’s Election Series 2012 events will keep you informed and entertained!

Register to Vote 

S.O.U.L.S. will help you register in Massachusetts or in your home state. Stop by any Tuesday between now and November 6, 11am – 4pm in the Sawyer and Donahue Lobbies. Can’t make it then? Visit the Government Department on the 10th floor of 73 Tremont or the S.O.U.L.S. office in Donahue 209 to pick up a registration form!
