The Office of Career Services and Cooperative Education is the hosting the first ever Suffolk Senior Career Summit. The event is designed to help graduating seniors jump start their job search campaign. In the course of three short hours, students will gain invaluable insights from guest speakers including; employers, recruiters, alumni, and career counselors. Presentations and workshops will include:

  • State of the Job Market, What Recruiters/Employers are Looking For
  • Brand You - Telling Your Story
  • Recent Alums Weigh-In
  • Capitalizing on Professional/Trade Associations
  • Career Doc Sessions for Resume Reviews

The office encourages all graduating seniors to attend. "Students participating in the Senior Career Summit will have a better understanding of how to work the job market to their advantage," states Paul Tanklefsky, Director of Career Services and Cooperative Education, "it's our goal that they will be smarter, savvier, and more successful job seekers at the end of the day."
Invitations will be sent in mid-February. Space will be limited to first 125 students who sign-up.
